Terms of Use

Agreement

By creating an account or using CoastVPN (the "Service") you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to the CoastVPN apps, our website, and the underlying VPN infrastructure we operate.

Who we are

CoastVPN is operated by Ren Technology. Our purpose is to provide a private, encrypted connection between your device and the internet through our VPN gateways.

Subscriptions, billing, and renewal

• The Service is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (a monthly plan). Payment is charged to your App Store account (in-app purchase) or Stripe (web checkout).
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time from your App Store account settings or the Stripe Customer Portal.
• Prices are shown before purchase and may change with notice. When a price changes, your subscription continues at the new price for the next billing period.
• If auto-renewal is turned off, you keep access until the end of the paid period; the Service then stops. No refunds are given for partially used periods except where required by law.
• Free trials, if offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

Acceptable use

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
• Do not use the Service to transmit illegal content, to gain unauthorized access to systems, to send spam, or to interfere with the operation of the Service or other networks.
• Do not share your account credentials, resell access, or permit concurrent use by multiple devices beyond what a single account allows.

Accounts and device keys

You are responsible for safeguarding your account. VPN keys are generated on your device, and only public keys are sent to our servers to provision your tunnel. If you lose access, you can re-authenticate and provision a new device.

Availability

We aim for a reliable Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may schedule maintenance, update servers, or change the set of available locations. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

Privacy

Our collection and use of your personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to that policy.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, for abuse, or to protect the Service and other users.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
